About Me

I'm currently a PhD student in theoretical particle physics at the University of California, Berkeley. Most of my work examines the particle phenomenology of dark matter, and ways we might detect signatures of dark matter particles in astrophysical systems. My advisor is Ben Safdi, and I spent half my time on campus in the BCTP and the other half at LBNL. I am supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.

Before graduate school, I received my undergraduate degrees in physics and mathematics, also from Berkeley, in 2022. This past life included research explorations ranging from string theory, experimental particle physics, as well as cosmology. I wrote a senior honors thesis about particular types of higher-dimensional QFTs under the guidance of Ori Ganor.

For more about my academic history, check out my CV (link), or my INSPIRE or arXiv pages.

Outside of physics, I enjoy playing bass (jazz/funk + orchestral), scuba diving, and consuming large quantities of science fiction media. There're a lot of other things I like to do, and many side quests in my life I'm working toward completing someday. You can read more about these types of shenanigans in the 'Blog' section of this website.
